Mr. Cremers is Executive Chairman of the Anglo-Eastern Univan Group, having served as Chief Executive Officer of the Anglo-Eastern Group of companies from 2001 to 2015. He graduated from Ghent University in 1973 with a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and subsequently obtained a postgraduate degree in Business Administration. After working as a naval architect for a Belgian shipyard and as technical manager for a Belgian ship management company, Mr. Cremers joined Anglo-Eastern in 1985.
Mr. Cremers was Chairman of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association from 2007 to 2009, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of BIMCO.
Captain Bjorn Hojgaard
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Hojgaard is Chief Executive Officer of the Anglo-Eastern Univan Group, having joined Univan Ship Management as Chief Executive Officer in January 2012. He is charged with the day-to-day operation and implementation of the company's strategies, reporting to the Board of Directors.
He served at sea as a deck officer with Maersk Line, becoming a Captain in 2000. For most of his professional life he has been involved in ship management, including as Managing Director of A.P. Moller Singapore Pte. Ltd. (2000 to 2002) and as Managing Director of Thome Ship Management (2008-2011). He has undergone executive management training with A.P. Moller-Maersk and at Stanford University.
Mr. Hojgaard is an Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Shipowners’ Association and has served as Councillor of both the Singapore Shipping Association and of INTERTANKO.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Liedts began his career at sea with Compagnie Maritime Belge aboard a variety of ships, rising to the rank of Chief Engineer before becoming a superintendent. Following a three year period working in the newbuilding department of Compagnie Maritime Belge and Bocimar, he joined Ecuadorian Line as technical manager. In 1987 Mr. Liedts joined Anglo-Eastern as technical manager and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2010.
Chief Financial Officer
After graduating from the University of Glasgow with a degree in accounting, Mr. Stevenson spent seven years with KPMG, latterly in a management position. He then worked as Head of Investor Relations at a large Scottish stock-listed company before joining the Group in 1997. In 2000 he became Finance Director of the UK subsidiary, taking responsibility for the Finance Function of the European offices in 2001. He moved to Hong Kong in 2013, becoming Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2014.
Mr. Stevenson is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
